Aaron is a Toronto, Canada based architect, with over 20 years experience designing public space including cultural, campus and recreational projects.

 

Following several years working in London, Portugal and Helsinki, Aaron settled in Toronto where he has worked at the award-winning practices KPMB, Superkul, and MJMA.

Aaron believes that the design of public space can be transformative, that well designed, accessible and inclusive spaces have the ability to facilitate social change and strengthen communities.

Excelling in detail-oriented designs that carefully craft both design and technical innovation, Aaron has established an expertise in all facets of architectural production, and he led many of MJMA’s largest projects. His commitment to community-based, site-specific architecture has contributed to numerous design awards.

Aaron’s portfolio includes projects in Auckland, Beijing, Chicago, Christchurch, Edmonton, Hamilton, Helsinki, Melbourne, Toronto, London England, London Ontario, and Yale

Aaron was most recently a senior associate at MJMA, where he was a member of the executive leadership team, and participated in the development of strategies leading to the evolution of the practice from 20 to 65 people.

Aaron is currently collaborating with his partner Angela Tsementzis on a number of creative pursuits.
